BPO company eyes expansion in Victorias City

A US-based business process outsourcing (BPO) company plans to expand its footprint in Negros Occidental by setting up a shop in Victorias City.

In a Facebook post, Global Strategic Business Process Solutions confirmed that it will open its second site in the province, a year after it launched its first provincial in Bacolod City.

Mayor-elect Javi Benitez said Global Strategic will be the first BPO to locate in Victorias City and is expected to open its office at the grounds of VIC Arcade Building along Osmeña Avenue, in three months.

The company conducted a series of job fairs in Victorias, the most recent on June 24, when it announced its expansion plans.

On June 24, its president Mark Matsunaya and Benitez led the groundbreaking ceremony.

Global Strategic is currently hiring back office associates, virtual assistants, account analysts, accountants, and trainers. A P20,000 sign-on incentive will be given to qualified candidates.

Since 2006 Global Strategic has been helping businesses achieve maximum efficiency and profitability through customized business solutions, it website said.

The company offers various services to include virtual assistance, call center operation, legal and business support, accounting, real estate, property management, digital marketing, information technology, recruitment staffing solutions.
