A detached suspension insulator of 69kV line in Hda. Maquina in Silay City has resulted to an unscheduled power interruption in the whole of Silay at 2:40 pm, today, October 11.
The Central Negros Electric Cooperative in an advisory said that their maintenance crew are currently in the area to repair the busted insulator.
CENECO did not provide a definite time as to when the affected area will be re-energized. Electric consumers are advised to turn off their electrical switches for safety reason.
