Citing the national COVID-19 statistics, Bacolod current recovery rate is at least 2.4%higher than the national average which stands at 88.1%.
As of 4PM, yesterday, the Department of Health has recorded a total of 373,144 cases nationwide with 328,602 patients fully recovered.
In Bacolod, out of 4,750 total cases, 4,298 have fully recovered, representing 90.48% of the total cases.
City Administrator Em Ang said that Bacolod is definitely on track to significantly reduce the case count versus last month. As of yesterday, Bacolod has only 1 new case– a 50-year-old, male, according to the DOH report.
She stressed that the key in case reduction is to wear a mask, handwashing, observing social distancing and avoid crowded areas.
