BBM-Sara targets 80K crowd in Bacolod on Feb 23

The Uniteam of presidential aspirant Ferdinand Marcos Jr and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio expect to gather at least 80,000 crowd for its grand rally in Bacolod City that will be held on February 23, 2 days before the anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, his ally Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer said.

The BBM-Sara tandem will be the first political group to hold its grand political rally in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental.

The vice governor who is openly campaigning for BBM-Sara tandem said that at least 85% of the incumbent mayors of the towns and cities in Negros Occidental are also expected to participate in the political rally that will be held in Reclamation area.

Expected to join the grand rally are UniTeam senatorial candidates, including re-electionists Migz Zubiri, and Sherwin Gatchalian, former secretary of Public Works and Highway Mark Villar, former senators Loren Legarda and Jinggoy Estrada, former defense chief Gilbert Teodoro, former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, former Palace spokesperson Harry Roque, former Information and Communication Secretary Gringo Honasan, lawyer Harry Gadon and House Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta.

Prior to the grand rally, a caravan will also be held from Bacolod-Silay Airport to the event venue. Those who wish to join the caravan from Silay-Talisay going to BREDCO can proceed directly to the Silay assembly point, the organizers said.
