Additional police personnel will arrive in Bacolod City tomorrow, October 17, to augment the security forces for the ongoing MassKara Festival.

Lieutenant Colonel Ronnie Brillo, administrative officer of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), said that around 600 police personnel from Antique, Aklan, Capiz, Iloilo City Police Stations, and Iloilo Police Provincial Office will be arriving on Tuesday.

The augmentation is aimed to further strengthen the police visibility patrol to maintain a zero MassKara related incident.

The first batch of police personnel who were deployed on October 12 were from the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.

In addition to the over a thousand police personnel who were augmented to the BCPO, over a thousand police personnel who are currently assigned to the BCPO are also being utilized to maintain security in the city during the festival.
