Residents of Bacolod City can expect improved water access and pressure thanks to a recently completed pipeline project by PrimeWater, in partnership with the Bacolod City Water District (BACIWA).

The project, which involved laying over 1.12 kilometers of transmission line from Forbes Hill to the junction of Circumferential Road and Airport-Silay Road, is delivering an additional 2 million liters of water per day (MLD) to the city, according to the water provider.
This significant increase benefits areas like Eroreco, Bata, and Mandalagan.
“This project is one of several initiatives we have undertaken to guarantee we meet the city’s water demands,” said PrimeWater Branch Manager Farah Jenny Monteclaro.
“Together with our partner, BACIWA, we are committed to providing our consumers with better service,” she added.
The additional water supply is expected to improve water pressure and availability, especially in previously underserved areas.
