The Emergency Operations Center of Bacolod has seen substantial dropped of COVID-19 positive cases in Bacolod.

As of yesterday, October 15, the city has only 10 new COVID positive cases and 107 new recoveries. Of the 4,491 total cases, 3,854 or 85% have already recovered.

Based on the comparative data analysis, City Administrator Em Ang said that there’s a significant decreased in cases for this month as compared to the previous month. Aside from this, Ang added that the number of patients currently in hospitals and quarantine centers have also reduced.

She believes that with the current rate Bacolod is now prepared to downgrade its quarantine status from Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) to GCQ. Bacolod remains under GCQ until end of October.
