Bacolod City, Negros Occidental— Over 1,300 employees of call center company, Panasiatic received their free vaccine against COVID-19 from the Bacolod COVID-19 Vaccination Council (CoVaC) over the weekend.

Of the more than 1,300 vaccinees vaccinated, 922 received their second dose, while more than 400 got their first jab.

Mayor Evelio Leonardia who visited the vaccination site told the vaccinees: “This is our way of trying to vaccinate everyone. Our target is to vaccinate everyone, particularly you in call centers.”

“You know how important vaccines are- most of those who are hospitalized are unvaccinated. Please help us educate and encourage others to get vaccinated, especially your family members,” Leonardia added.

The vaccination over the weekend was the second on-site vaccination with its first simultaneous vaccination held at their two sites last Aug. 14

Supervising the vaccination drive from PanAsiatic are Site Director Siony Hijara-Ferraris, General Manager and Operations Director Rogie Arceñas, and HR Manager and CompBen Ma. Teresa Nolasco.

In a statement, PanAsiatic said: “Incredible efforts have been made to get COVID-19 vaccines to the employees of PanAsiatic Solutions as we remain committed to keep the workplace safe for our people and help everyone get a better shot of ending the pandemic.”
