The Office of Councilor Cindy Rojas, in-charged of the returning Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs), advised returning residents to secure 3 documents before booking a ticket for their return in the city this Christmas.
Rojas said that LSI has to secure a medical certificate from the local government unit where they are coming from, a valid ID with a Bacolod address or a certificate of residency and a travel authority from the Philippine National Police.
Once these documents are completed, LSIs are advised to email to spmcindyrojas@yahoo.com so a notice of coordination can be issued.
Upon arrival in Bacolod, all in-bound passengers will be taken by the city bus and will be subjected for swabbing.
Once swabbed, LSIs will be brought to a school quarantine facility where they will be housed free of charge until their negative result is out. According to Rojas swab result are normally available within 3-5 days.
For individuals who will opt for a hotel quarantine, the following hotels are the only accredited of the city- Avenue Suites in Lacson, Acacia Hotel in BREDCO and Middle Town Inn along Rizal-Lacson. Expenses for the hotel quarantine will be shouldered by the returning resident.
