Bacolod, 10 cities pass DILG’s good financial housekeeping audit

The city of Bacolod along with 10 other component cities in Negros Occidental had passed the Good Financial Housekeeping audit of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The passers were Bago, Cadiz, Sagay, Himamaylan, San Carlos, Kabankalan, Silay, La Carlota, Talisay, and Victorias cities, the DILG said.

The Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping recognizes compliance of local government units with accounting and auditing standards, rules and regulations, as certified by DILG’s Bureau of Local Government Supervision.

It affirms that an LGU had spent and audited its public funds completely and with full transparency.

The following towns in Negros Occidental also Tpassed the 2022 Good Financial Housekeeping: Binalbagan, Hinoba-an, Calatrava, Ilog, Candoni, Isabela, Cauayan, Manapla, EB Magalona, Moises Padilla, Hinigaran, Murcia, Pontevedra, Pulupandan, Salvador Benedicto, San Enrique and Toboso.
