In line with its commitment to community well-being, Ayala Malls Capitol Central has once again opened its doors to offer refuge to those affected by heavy rains and flooding in Bacolod City.

The mall’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) extended assistance to 22 families from Purok Mambulok, along with Brgy. 8 officials, on August 28 at 11:14 pm.

A total of 51 individuals found shelter at the mall’s Fiesta Market, where they were welcomed to stay overnight. The move was part of Ayala Malls’ core value of “Malasakit,” signifying empathy and proactive care for the community, as highlighted by General Manager Maria Sharon Ciocon.

Ayala Malls Capitol Central also upholds its commitment to customer safety by offering designated waiting areas, accessible restrooms beyond operating hours, and complimentary charging stations.

The mall has also waived overnight fees for the South and 5F Parking Areas during this period.

Ciocon emphasized the importance of community support and urged fellow Bacolodnons to contribute to relief efforts. Donations and relief goods are being accepted at the Concierge on the 1st Floor.
