Army, PNP hold medical mission in Murcia

Uniform personnels from the 1st Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company, Negros Occidental Police Office, 303rd Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army and concerned Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) conducted a Community Outreach and Medical Mission that benefitted many recipients in Brgy Minoyan, Murcia, Negros Occidental last January 26, 2021.

The activity which was carried out by the 1st Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company in collaboration with Bacolod Eagles Club, Amity Volunteer Fire Brigade and Felix G Yusay Foundation, Inc., offered free medical consultation and giving of medicines to 89 recipients and distribution of 136 food packs.

Aside from the medical check-up, the 303rd Infantry Brigade CMO and Medical/Dental Team, 79IB, 32CMO, Philippine Army contributed to the activity by conducting a film showing and giving of free haircuts to 26 persons.

The activity also served as a venue of the local PNP peace initiative dubbed as “Armas Baylo Bugas” where a total of eight (8) firearms were turned-over by eight (8) personalities.

“Helping and lifting each other up while we experience this pandemic is essential. Your Army here in Negros Occidental will deliver our best in the service of our beloved Negrense.

This joint activity with the PNP and concerned civil society groups who are likewise looking into the welfare of their fellows indicate positive character and resiliency of a true Negrense.” Colonel Michael Samson, Acting 303rd Brigade Commander said.
