Upon knowing that Brgy. Alijis does not have its ambulance despite being one of the biggest barangay of Bacolod City, mayoral candidate Albee Benitez immediately dispatched an ambulance through the Nikki Cares Foundation.
Benitez who personally turned over the ambulance said: “Kabalo ko nga ambulansya kinahanglanon,” Albee said. “Indi kamo mahadlok kay ang tawo upod sa aton.”
Barangay captain Donny dela Vega expressed his gratitude, adding that the ambulance will be a great help to better equip their barangay in handling the immediate health concerns of their residents.
Dela Vega also pledged his support to Benitez’s health programs, and noted Benitez has already done great things for Bacolod before he was even elected, which is a true quality of public servant.
