The wearing of faceshield is now mandatory in Bacolod City, based on City Ordinance 944.
The city council passed CO 944 following the extension of General Community Quarantine in the city.
Based on the ordinance, residents are mandatorily required to wear a face shield aside from face mask when in public places, public transport, commercial establishments and enclosed workplaces.
It further requires residents to use a faceshield when in a meeting venue where private or public services are provided.
