Governor Eugenio “Bong” Lacson personally handed the P100,000 cash assistance and Certificates of Centenarian Award to five Negrense Centenarians in the cities of Bago and Kabankalan and Municipality of Valladolid, yesterday, February 10.
The centenarians are Pilar Pacite, Florencia Santillan, Arsenio Pinasas, Sr., Telesforo Andres, and Cristituto Calog.
Gov. Lacson together with Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer OIC Merle Garcia were welcomed by the respective LGU officials led by Mayor Pedro Zayco, Jr. of Kabankalan City, and families of the centenarians.
The governor has been personally visiting the centenarian awardees in their hometowns since last year giving cash assistance and certificates, to support and keep them safe, especially in the midst of the pandemic.
