The city halls of Bago and Silay cities were placed under lockdown to giveway for a thorough disinfection.
Bago City Mayor Nicholas Yulo in his Executive Order said work at their city hall is suspended starting today, January 20, until January 23, and employees are advised to shift to a work-from-home arrangement. The closure will allow for the decontamination of the main and annex buildings.
But the following shall continue to render their activities will continue according to the mayor:
▫️Business One- Stop Shop [BOSS]
▫️Vaccination Activities
▫️Delivery of Essential Goods
▫️Giving of financial assistance to victims of Typhoon Odette
Meanwhile, Silay City Mayor Mark Golez also ordered the temporary closure of its city hall until this weekend after some employees tested positive of coronavirus.
