12 hours power interruption on Aug 21

A 12-hour power outage is slated on Sunday, August 21 in order to facilitate the request of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines to shutdown Bacolod-Cadiz 138kV transmission line, Northern Negros Electric Cooperative said in an advisory.

The 12-hour outage will run from 6AM to 6PM to allow the National Grid Corporation to perform its Annual Preventive Maintenance of its 50 MVA Power Transformer, and other related technical activities

NONECO said the outage will affect the whole coverage area of EB Magalona, Victorias, Manapla, Cadiz, Sagay, Escalante, Toboso, Calatrava and San Carlos City.

NONECO 20 MVA San Carlos, 5 MVA Toboso-Calatrava, and 10 MVA Escalante Substation will be load shift to Guihulngan 69kV Transmission line to minimize whole day power interruption in Escalante, Toboso Calatrava , and San Carlos.

NONECO 5 MVA Manapla, and 15 MVA Victorias Substation will be load shift to Bacolod- Victorias 69kV Transmission line to minimize whole day power interruption in EB Magalona, Victorias, and Manapla.

NONECO 10 MVA Cadiz, 10 MVA Sagay Substation will experience WHOLE DAY POWER INTERRUPTION from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the whole coverage of Cadiz, Sagay, Portion of Manapla, Portion of Toboso, and Portion of Calatrava.
